Switch is a device that allows the flow of current through it. It can also break the circuit, so it is majorly used in circuits where we need to break open a circuit and stop the flow of current. If the previous statement was too technical, think of your Fan at home which needs to be turned OFF and cannot remain ON forever. So we need a device to turn the fan OFF, in this case it is an electrical Switch.

There are various types of switches and they have various functions and characteristics of their own. We are going to learn about Pushbuttons or momentary buttons in this activity.

Pushbuttons have the name derived from their turning ON condition. That is they remain ON only when pushed.

Now lets use the Pushbutton and turn ON a LED. The LED will be powered with the help of an Arduino. Connect the Below Circuit.
